Epilogue

Ruzo was born Victor Rutz on December 22, 1913.
He was born a gifted child. Already at 5 years old his artistic talents were well beyond an ordinary child. His talents however, were not exploited because his parents didn’t want him to be disturbed. Their attitude affected him throughout his life. On numerous occasions he refused the commercial art world and always chose the path of painting.
Only when he was in his 90’s was he ready to expose his works to the world. And on what better occasion than at the infamous Marble Palace, National Museum in Russia, where his life’s works were well received in 2004.
