L'humaité se donne la main dans une unité universelle. NOTRE OXYGENE
Mauvaise herbre, fleurs des champs et ainsi tout ce qui pousse, partout, et personne ne sait pourquoi. Les arbres, les plantes, tout cela était sur terre avant nous. Sans tout cela, personne ne serait en vie, et c'est sans respect qu'on passe devant, sans s'arrêter. Aujourd'hui, je ne me demande plus pourquoi, pour quelle raison. J'ai admis que tout ce qui bouge dans un rayonnement relativement cosmique, échappe à l'analyse. On ne peut que s'étonner, admirer et regarder respectueusement ces petites plantes modestes et être heureux que tout cela existe et enrichisse notre vie. La mauvaise herbe devient une plante miracle. UNSER SAUERSTOFF Unkraut, Feldblumen und alles was so wächst, überall, und niemand weiss warum. Bäume, Pflanzen, das alles war auf dem Planet vor uns, ohne das alles wäre kein Mensch am Leben, und achtlos geht man an allen vorbei. Heute frage ich nicht mehr warum, wieso. Ich habe erkannt, dass alles in einer relativen kosmischen Strahlung sich bewegt, die keiner Analyse zugänglich ist. Wir sollen nur staunen, bewundern und mit Ehrfurcht auf die unscheinbaren Pflänzchen hinunter schauen und glücklich sein, dass das alles existiert und unser Leben bereichert. Das Unkraut wird zum Wunderkraut. OUR OXYGEN Weeds, wild flowers and everything that just grows are everywhere and no one knows why. Trees, plants, all this was on our planet before us, without all this there could be no man, and we walk past it and do not pay it any attention. Today I no longer ask why it is so. I see that everything moves in a relative cosmic radiation not open to any analysis. We should only be amazed and delighted, looking down with reverence at the unsightly warts. We should be happy that all this exists and enriches our lives. The weeds become miracle-working. |

VICTOR RUZO LA VIE ET L'OEUVRE DU PEINTRE Préface Montreux, petite ville touristique en Suisse, a de tous temps abrité de nombreux grands artistes attirés par la beauté de son paysage et la douceur de son climat. Beaucoup d'oeuvres majeurs y ont été réalisées et y sont toujours réalisées, enrichissant ainsi la culture du monde. Une personnalité éminente, génie de la peinture, Victor Ruzo, s'y est installé. Il y trouva ses inspirations universelles qui étonnent tous ceux qui visitent son musée. Ce n'est donc pas un miracle si, pour ses 90 ans, un des centres culturels le plus important du monde a organisé une rétrospective de haute valeur. En effet, dans le cadre des festivités organisées pour le 300ème anniversaire de St. Pétersbourg, il lui sera rendu hommage pour son 90ème anniversiare, entouré pour l'occasion par de nombreuses personnalités. Pierre le Grand appelait St. Pétersbourg "la fenêtre de Russie sur l'Europe". Pour Ruzo, c'est le contraire. Pour lui, européen, s'ouvre une fenêtre en direction de la Russie. Cela a toujours été la même chose. L'histoire nous démontre que la plupart des grands créateurs ont trouvé la reconnaissance à l'étranger. Ruzo a certes ses partisans à peu près dans tous les états culturels, mais l'invitation officielle du Musée Russe d'Etat l'a inspiré à créer des oeuvres incroyables. En tant que Conseiller national, Syndic et Président de l'Exécutif de Montreux, je me sens honoré qu'à travers Ruzo, peintre génial, les relations entre la Suisse et la Russie et entre Montreux et St. Pétersbourg les ont réunis pour un événement des plus réjouissants. En parallèle, je voudrais ajouter que de nombreux russes ont vécu à Montreux. Quelques uns d'entre eux: Vladimir Nabokov, Igor F. Strawinsky, P. Tchaikovsk, Léon Tolstoi, Dimitri Magalov. Au demeurant, de nombreuses familles russes vivent aujourd'hui chez nous à Montreux. Modeste et réservé, malgré sa grande popularité au niveau mondial, Ruzo souligne de façon explicite qu'on n'améliore pas le monde avec de la modestie mais plutôt avec une grande audace qu'il a trouvée, bien qu'un peu tard, à St. Pétersbourg et qu'on remarque déjà dans ses derniers tableaux. "La grande Russie" dit Ruzo "sera un essai, à partir de St. Pétersbourg, pour diffuser un message universel, le miracle aura lieu, c'est la volonté de Dieu." Que dire de plus sinon exprimer mes remerciements à la Russie pour avoir découvert notre Ruzo dans son musée. Avec ce livre, un rayon d'espoir se répendra sur notre planète. VICTOR RUZO LEBEN UND WERK Vorwort Zu allen Zeiten hat Montreux, kleine Touristenstadt in der Schweiz, immer wieder grosse Künstler angezogen durch die Schönheit der Landschaft und die Milde des Klimas. Viele der bedeutenden Werke entstanden und entstehen immer wieder, welche die Kultur der Welt bereichern. Eine der bedeutenden Persönlichkeiten, Genius der Malerei, Victor Ruzo hat sich in Montreux niedergelassen. Er fand hier seine universalen Inspirationen, die in seinem Museum jedermann ins Staunen versetzt. Kein Wunder, dass zu seinem neunzigsten Geburtstag eine grosse angelegte Retrospektive in einem der bedeutensten Kulturzentrum der Welt organisiert wurde. Im Rahmen der Festlichkeiten des 300 jährigen Bestehens von St. Petersburg wird also sein neunzigster Geburtstag mit vielen prominenten Gösten gewürdigt werden. Peter der Grosse nannte St.Petersburg "Das Fenster von Russland nach Europa." Für Ruzo ist es das Gegenteil für ihn, Europäer, öffnet sich das Fenster nach Russland. Es war schon immer so. Die Geschichte zeigt uns, dass die meisten grossen Kreateure ihre Anerkennung im Ausland erhalten haben. Ruzo hat zwar seine Anhänger so ziemlich in allen Kulturstaaten, aber das russische Nationalmuseum, die offizielle Einladung, hat ihn zu unerhörten Werken inspiriert. Als schweizerischer Nationalrat, Bürgermeister und Präsident der Exekutive von Montreux, fühle ich mich sehr geehrt, dass durch den genialen Maler Ruzo die Verbindungen zwischen der Schweiz und Russland und zwischen Montreux und St.Petersburg zu einim höchst erfreulichen Eteignis geführt hat. In diesem Zusammenhang möchte ich erwähnen, dass auf der anderen Seite ebenfalls bedeutende Russen in Montreux gelebt haben. Hier einige von ihnen: Vladimir Nabokov, Igor F. Stravinsky, I. Tchaikovsky, Léon Tolstoi, Nikita Magalov. Übrigens leben heute viele russischen Familien bei uns in Montreux. Bescheiden und zurückgezogen, trotz seiner grossen Beliebtheit von überall aus der Welt, betont er ausdrücklich, dass man nicht mit Bescheidenheit die Welt verbessert, sondern mit grosszügiger Kühnheit die er nun, ein bisschen spät in St. Petserburg gefunden hat, die sich aber bereits in seinen letzten Bildern demonstriert. "Das grosse Russland", sagt Ruzo "wird von St. Petersburg einen Versuch ausstrahlen für eine universale Botschaft der Hoffnung, das Wunder wird geschehen, es ist der Wille Gottes." Was kann ich da noch anderes hinzufügen als den Dank an Russland auszusprechen, unseren Victor Ruzo in seinem Museum entdeckt zu haben. VICTOR RUZO THE ARTIST'S LIFE AND WORK Foreword Montreux is a small town and popular tourist destination in Switzerland. Its stunning landscapes and soft climate have always attracted great artists. Many famous works of art have been created here and are created here to this day, enriching the culture of mankind. One of the world's leading artists has settled in Montreux - the genius of painting Victor Ruzo. Montreux is the artist's source of insipiration, giving rise to the masterpieces stunning the visitors to Ruzo's museum. The artist's ninetieth birthday was therefore celebrated by a major retrospective of his works in this leading centre of world culture. Ruzo also marks his nietieth birthday as part of the celebrations in honour of the tree-hundredth anniversary of St Petersburg, in the company of many famous guests. History testifies that the majority of great creators always receive recognition abroad. While Ruzo has legions of fans in all cultural nations, the official invitation from the State Russian Museum inspired the artist to create outstanding new works. As a Swiss national councillor and the mayor and president of the executive council of Montreux, I consider it an honour that the artist and genius Victor Ruzo has helped to strengthen the ties between both Switzerland and Russia and Montreux and St Petersburg. In this context, I would like to say that many famous Russians have lived in Montreux at one time or another. Vladimir Nabokov, Igor Stravinsky, Peter Tchaikovsky, Leon Tolstoy and Kikita Magalov are just some of these names. Many Russian families live in our town to this day. Himself modest and reserved, notwithstanding his great international popularity, Victor Ruzo insists that the world cannot be changed by modesty, but only by the audacious magnanimity which he himself acquired slightly later in St Petersburg, yet which can already be seen in his moste recent works. As the artist himself says: "Throught St Petersburg, great Russia will send universal messages of hope to the whole world and the miracle will happen. Such is the will of God." What can I add to this, except words of gratitude to Russia for opening Victor Ruzo to the world at the State Russian Museum. May this catalogue spread the ray of hope across the planet.
