Introduction
Warning: Your world as you know it is about to be momentarily transformed by the passion of a master painter. Welcome to the site of the Swiss painter Victor Ruzo. The intent of this site is to introduce you to the life and works of this true master in such a way that you will be inspired and transformed. As Dr. Henry-Charles Tauxe, journalist and writer specializing in culture and art, states: “Victor Ruzo is incontestably one of the greatest creators of contemporary art. His masterpieces, still relatively unknown, will one day be equal to Picasso or Dali.” He continues to say that, “Ruzo is an artist who has reached the highest level, not only as a genius of painting, but also as an ethical philosopher.” Ruzo died on March 26, 2008 in his home in Montreux-Territet. To visit the museum is by request only. Please note: The pictures you will see on display on this website only convey a very small part of the impact of Ruzo’s art. To experience the paintings fully require that one stands in front of them and that the light on them changes from dim to bright and vice versa. With light the paintings transform producing a magical effect. Territet, January 2010 |
