The era of matter

Ruzo explaining his work on aluminium - 1990
(taken from Marc Michel's film "Ruzo")
After the revolving picture of the world, completely exhausted, I longed for a new, pure world arising out of the source of all things – matter.
Every human creation develops from it and every living thing is born from it. It is thanks to this cosmic, indefinite influence that we exist, and because of it we automatically perceive our existence as normal. Meanwhile, we exist on a universal globe hovering in space. This is remarkable and by no means normal. In any case, with this awareness I was able to build a new world for myself which was supposed to make everything impossible, possible.
